As Corp. Director of EH&S, Clay is responsible for BMWC’s overall safety strategy and development North America both in union and merit shop markets. BMWC provides construction services to the nation’s chemical manufacturing industry as well as dozens of other companies listed on the Fortune 400. Clay began his career with BMWC and will have 27 years of service next year. He served the first 10 years of his career in Indianapolis as a site safety supervisor while working at a large pharmaceutical company. He then relocated to Munster to work at a major refinery modernization project. He has had his current role for the last 10 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Occuaptional Health and Safety Management from Indiana State University and holds CSP from the Board of Certified Safety Directors. Clay and his two children live in Chesterton, IN where most of his spare time is spent at their youth and high school athletic events. They also like to travel and explore areas they have never been to before.
