Kirk Baisch is the Safety Director at UMC, where he has been instrumental in developing and leading the company’s Pride-based Safety culture. With over 26 years of experience in construction safety roles, Kirk has played a pivotal role in shaping UMC’s stellar safety performance including 7 National safety excellence awards. Kirk is one of the owners of UMC and his responsibilities include developing safety culture, implementing procedures, safety standards, and best practices, evaluating needs, providing necessary training, and conducting accident/near miss investigations. His leadership has empowered and motivated UMC’s nearly 500-person team to achieve best-in-class safety excellence. Kirk’s dedication to safety has earned him recognition within the industry, and he continues to be a driving force in promoting a culture of safety at all levels of the organization.
