Jon Howland is a Director of Marketing for Stanley Black & Decker’s Commercial & Industrial Division championing the organization’s strategic focused on professional trade contractors and partnerships with the both the largest trade associations throughout the United States.
An innovative and highly effective strategist with a track record of delivering on aggressive growth targets, Jon’s success stems from an unwavering commitment to collaborative enterprise solutions focusing on customer safety and productivity with those he works alongside. Jon is the primary architect of the company’s go-to-market approach anchored by iconic brands DEWALT, LENOX, STANLEY, and PROTO Industrial Tools.
Throughout his tenure of nearly three decades, Jon has served several verticals within the organization including product, channel, Hispanic, brand, sports and event marketing bolstering his reputation as a trusted advisor throughout the company. Jon was a recipient of Stanley Black & Decker’s 2022 “MAKE THE WORLD” award, which was bestowed upon less than .1% of the company’s employees and in 2023, Jon was recognized as the ToolBank USA’s “ToolBanker for Life” achievement award capping-off his six years of service and leadership on its national board.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, having deployed aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, CVN-69, Jon is a selfless servant, giving-back when and where he can. Not only does Jon serve as an advisor to the Stanley Black & Decker Veterans Network he also supports various Veteran-focused initiatives throughout the industry. Bolstering his and DEWALT’s commitment to bring more veterans, women, and people from underserved communities into the Trades, he is a leader of the DEWALT “GROW THE TRADES” initiative. Jon serves on the Boards of the Morizzo Foundation, the Heavy Metal Summer Experience, and the ACE Mentor Program where he was recently named to their Executive Committee.
