Rob McKinney has worked as a safety professional in the construction industry since 2001. He worked his way up from a site Safety coordinator to Safety Director. His love for technology led him to create a blog site dedicated to construction technology and co-found the ConTechCrew podcast and ConTechRoadshow. As the ConAppGuru, Rob has delivered presentations at national and regional construction conferences since 2013. Rob has worked for a few software teams, including JBKnowledge, RHumbix, Safesite and now SALUS. He is focused on educational efforts for the construction industry about the benefits of using technology to improve safety workflows and mental health efforts. He has participated in safety-focused groups such as the MCAA, SMACNA, NECA, ABC, AGC, and other Construction Trade Associations. Rob is currently focused on teaching construction professionals about the benefits of using AI to improve their workflows.
