Joseph Whiteman, Director of Safety Services for the American Society of Concrete Contractors brings over 20 years of dedicated safety experience gathered from working for Turner Construction, a large Commercial General Contractor and Morley Construction, A division of Morley Builders Inc., a specialty concrete contractor with a focus on structural and architectural concrete. Joseph joined ASCC full time in the fall of 2019 as the Director of Safety Services to help drive one of ASCC’s goals in having the safest concrete contractors in the industry along with establishing himself as a trusted resource for ASCC members for their safety needs. Joseph holds both the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP). Joseph continues to maintain these certifications through his ongoing pursuit of professional development and training throughout our industry and is involved with the American Society of Safety Professional (ASSP), and the National Safety Council (NSC).
