Shawn Egan is responsible for collaborating with Clients, Broker partners, and Underwriting teams to facilitate account coordination and management pertinent to national account casualty exposures and controls. Management typically encompasses involvement in large and complex customer engagements including risk assessments, onboarding, and stewardship meetings, internal coordination with local risk control expertise, and delivering specialized and customized consulting services where appropriate. Shawn joined CNA in June 2015 and has grown into a steady resource since in the large casualty arena. He has a strong background of 10+ years experience in the risk management and safety and health industries that often run parallel to each other. Shawn holds both a Bachelor’s degree and Masters’ degree from Keene State College in Safety and Occupational Health Applied Sciences. Shawn maintains the following designations: Recognized Risk Engineer (RRE) conferred by Underwriter Laboratories (UL); Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) conferred by International Risk Management Institute (IRMI); Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) conferred by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
